Our History

Underbrink's Bakery has brought the Quincy area the best in made-from-scratch baked goods since it was opened by Claude Underbrink in 1929. Seventy years later, you can still get a taste of the same recipes baked by Claude himself. Underbrink's is proud to be part of the Quincy German Village Society and is featured in the Quincy Visitor's Bureau publication "50 Great Things to do in Quincy". This quaint shop, located next to Quincy University and St. Francis Church is adorned with antique baking tools and containers, the original display cases, antique ovens, refridgerators and gadgets from the 1930's. Tours are available by reservation (weekdays only).

Underbrink's Bakery is owned and operated by LeRoy and Janet Rossmiller of Quincy.janet and leroy
